hey guess what: the trojan horse has got a black hat :)
The conference material at BH is always kewl. Attending to this con is highly expensive because it's far away - in my case. Well... here's the material publicly available. For personal entertainment: Follow this link.
Highlights for the moment
Because of the actual debate about the Federal Remote Trojan, or however they call it nowadays, in Germany (yes, a pity we have this crap too) police now can trojanize a suspect's computer without any judge's approval.
The forensics section is interesting, isn't it:
Lukas Grunwald talks (part I, part II, slides, local mirror) about how these trojans work and reveals the secrets.
- And he speaks about how to hack them. Seems to be worth a brief look. Just in case... someone thought you are on the wrong side.
